The Goblins Are Coming – Albion

Downtown Albion
October 31, 2013
1 – 5 PM

Halloween is just around the corner and Albion is celebrating is a super-fine way! All 600 of Albion Public School’s children will be promenading in their costumes from City Hall to the Albion District Library and back, October 31, 2013 from 1 – 5 PM. Downtown merchants will be distributing candy and other goodies to the children as they participate in the first ever Goblin Walk in downtown Albion.

If you are not a downtown merchant but would like to participate, there are a number of ways you can help. One, contribute money to the purchase of candy and help defray the cost for the merchants participating – there is a LOT of money tied up in paying for candy for 600 students, mind you.

Two, call City Hall and tell them you want a booth space downtown where you can set up your OWN booth and pass out goodies. There is plenty of room and all are welcome.

Three, come downtown and enjoy the “show”. Children from ages 5 – 14 will be participating and the costumes are bound to be a great visual display. Celebrate Halloween, our community, and our children… the goblins are coming!
