Tech Twilight – Ann Arbor

November 9, 2019 @ 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

TechTwilight will celebrate science, technology, art, and imagination in an unexpected and unconventional experience. “I’ve imagined this event for years, the celebration of the intersection of art and science. The ability to dance with lasers, become immersed in glaciers, or experience a tactile interactive sculpture is a unique opportunity we will bring to life for our community. ” – says Mel Drumm, President and CEO of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.

Be challenged by A World Without Ice, a multimedia exhibit focusing on the Earth’s changing climate by Michael Gould, Stephen Rush, and Marion Trankle in collaboration with climate scientist Henry Pollack. Stand in awe of Gene Foulk and Casey Dixon’s Invasive Species, a larger-than-life LED tree of twisted and sinuous reflective metal, and much more!

The Museum will be open from 12-2 for members only, and 2-8 pm for families with TechTwilight: Family Day. Visitors will interact with artists, as well as student groups displaying their creativity and participate in hands-on family activities.
