The Support Our School Metal Recycling Drive takes place on Saturday, October 11 from 9 AM – 1 PM on the Jackson Christian School high school campus (4200 Lowe Rd., Jackson, MI 49203) through Kurpinski’s Recycling. A truck will also be available at the Jackson Christian School elementary campus from 9 AM – 11 AM (801 Halstead Blvd., Jackson, MI 49203).
Recycling is a great way to earn money for the school, and plays an important role in being great stewards of the earth. Clean out your garage, barn, basement.
This Flyer lists acceptable items. Flyers are available in the school offices. Cars, equipment and other large items can be picked up by Kurpinski’s.
Call JCS grandparent Debbie Randall at 517-536-8362, to arrange a pick-up of large items by Kurpinski’s or for a home pick-up if you have more items than you can transport in your vehicle.
Also a fun family opportunity to earn parent and student volunteer hours by joining the recycling team. Teams are needed for unloading cars at the high school. Teams needed to pick up items from residents who do not have a large enough vehicle to transport their items.
