Senior Art Show Reception – Spring Arbor

Spring Arbor University graduates Bethany Anderson and Kwade Joslin will display their college exhibitions in Ganton Art Gallery beginning on Sunday, Oct. 27, with an opening reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibits will remain on display until Nov. 23. The show is free and open to the public.

Joslin’s exhibit, “Humanity in Line,” revolves around his intentional focus on the human form and expression. His pieces—in mixed media such as pencil, ink and watercolor—focus on each person’s form and emotions.

Anderson’s exhibit, “Stories on a Wall,” features colorful pastel landscapes, detailed ink illustrations, and graphic design. She encourages viewers to explore the stories behind each work as they move through the gallery.

Attendees of the opening reception will have the opportunity to meet Anderson and Joslin and discuss their work. Refreshments will be provided.

Those interested will be able to purchase selected works of art by contacting the artist.

Ganton Art Gallery hours for the opening on Oct. 27 are: 2 – 4 p.m. Regular hours for the gallery are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 1 – 5 p.m. on weekends. The gallery is located along M-60 on Spring Arbor University’s main campus, at 106 E. Main St., Spring Arbor, MI, 49283. For more information, call the Ganton Art Gallery at 517.750.6580.
