Boy Scouts of America has officially launched registration and fundraising for Paddle for Packs. Paddle for Packs will be held Thursday, August 6, 2020 in Lansing, MI.
Local boys and girls in Scouting are #Scouting on! Despite challenging times, our Scouts prevail by studying at home, earning merit badges, backyard camping, and virtual instruction. By attending an evening of paddling, you will be supporting your local friends in scouting. For every 4 paddlers we have sign up, we will have put one Scout through their annual program.
Join us for a paddle on the beautiful Grand River, along the River Walk in Down-town Lansing. Paddle to support local Scouting Packs! Meet at Rivertown adventures at 5pm. Get ready for a 5:30 pm launch, with a round trip paddle of 1 – 1.5 hours, and a fun park stop in-between! You won’t want to miss this fun event! Perfect for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult), all levels from very beginner to expert. We have double kayaks available for those who want to buddy up. But, get your tickets now! Limited number of kayaks available. Bring your own kayak, bring your own life jacket!
