The Southside mural project is a celebration and commemoration of the rich history from the Southside of Jackson MI.
The mural honors people, places and activities of years’ past re-igniting the pride and passion in the heart of the Jackson Community including Teresa Delph, Carl Breeding, Rev Polk Williams and Mrs. Shirley Pitts.
The artwork will be placed on the Martin Luther King Jr. Equality Trail just south of High St. This is a great step in the revitalization of the Southside neighborhood.
