Money Habitudes: A free training event and brunch – Jackson
Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 10:00 am-12:00 pm
This is a social invitation to clergy, counselors, and educators from Marriage Matters Jackson (MMJ) and Jackson District Library. Facilitated by Shelby Raines, MMJ executive director.
Professionals who guide, counsel, and teach know how sensitive the topic of money can be. At this FREE workshop and brunch, we will tackle the tricky topic of money and show you how to help others in an engaging and non-threatening format — using a nationally recognized program: Money Habitudes (a card game!)
Created with clergy, counselors, and educators in mind, this training event will walk you through the program and how to teach it. An empowering program, Money Habitudes helps people understand how they can take charge of their financial future and explore how old habits and attitudes toward money may be supporting or sabotaging their intentions.
Each organization represented will be given 5 decks of cards to take with them and use with their small groups or clients.
Registration is required, please RSVP by Thursday, Jan. 23 at (517) 796-5116!*
*At Cascades Manor House, 1970 Kibby Rd., Jackson

The Let’s Talk About Money workshops are free and made possible by a grant from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation through Smart investing@your library®, a partnership with the American Library Association.
