JACKSON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Jackson Community Foundation invites anyone who loves our community to apply for mini grant funding. Inspired by Jackson 2020’s vision to collaboratively transform Jackson County into one of the nation’s most desirable places to live, work, and play for people of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures, the Foundation is awarding ten $500 mini grants to projects that demonstrate and share our love! Examples of community love include: planting flowers, sprucing up a neighborhood park, painting a mural, honoring our history… The possibilities are endless and creativity is encouraged! Winners will be determined by the community based on votes received on the Foundation’s Facebook page.
The top ten Love Your Community applications with the most Facebook votes will receive funding. Grant dollars awarded are to be used to complete the proposed project during the summer of 2013. This includes new projects, project enhancement or expansion of an already existing project.
Any non-profit organization, school, governmental agency, business, group or individual is eligible to submit one application. Businesses, groups and individuals are encouraged to partner with a non-profit organization, school or governmental agency.
