Junior Achievement Grand Prix Race – Jackson

Fun! Free! Family Friendly!  It’s all about the kids!  Mark your calendars for June 7th, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Junior Achievement is holding the 17th annual Grand Prix Race for Education presented by EATON at KIA of Jackson on Page Ave.

This event is a must attend for all race fans and supporters of youth education!  Non – stop racing action filled with speed, thrills and excitement as 32 Classic Carts and Arrive and Drive teams compete into the night in 4 heat races and a championship race. We are pleased to announce our High School Division – students from around the county will be competing for the bragging rights to the 1stHigh School Division Championship.  Bring your family, friends and co-workers out to the KIA Kartfest, there is something for everyone to see!  There will be children’s activities, the inflatable obstacle course, hula hooping, and free grilled hot dogs to benefit JA programs.  Parking and admission are free and this is a great way to spend a relaxing summer evening out.

Feeling lucky? JA is selling tickets now for the “Race for Education Raffle”.  Grand Prize: Bose Wave Music System III, 1st Prize: Papa John’s Pizza for a Year, 2nd Prize: $100 Visa Gift Card Courtesy of Michigan Community Credit Union, 3rd Prize: MIS tickets to the NASCAR World Truck Series! Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the race or by contacting JA, need not be present to win.  This is a simple way for the community to support economic education for kids in Jackson.

All proceeds benefit Junior Achievement programs which are teaching local kids “the realities of life”.
