JSO Summer Pops “Brats and Beethoven” Concert- Jackson

It’s summer, time to party and unwind with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and friends. Saturday, July 27th bring your blanket or lawn chair down to Riverwalk Amphitheatre located downtown next to Consumers Energy.

The Jackson Symphony Guild is sponsoring this event which begins at 5 p.m. with a variety of music that not only includes the JSO but Big Foot Bob, the Jazz Ensemble, and more. The JSO will begin their performance at 7:30 p.m. with an eclectic mix of patriotic pieces, John Williams’ Star Wars, selections from E.T. and Les Miserables, summertime classics and folk music. Following the JSO, stay for “Dancing Under the Stars.”

There’s more than music, Mat’s Cafe will be selling sandwiches, including of course brats and pulled pork. A 50/50 raffle is included and the winner gets to choose either the MSU or University of Michigan fight song to be played during a designated JSO concert. Donate it all back and the winner also gets to conduct that song!

Enjoy the whole evening of music including a sandwich, VIP seating and parking – our special BBB package – for only $20. Also available are a $15 VIP seating and parking ticket or $5 General Admission ticket. Parking available in the Cooper Street.
