Habitat ReStore Looking for Volunteers
Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is looking for volunteers. Located at 251 W. Prospect St., Jackson, the ReStore has multiple opportunities for volunteer help.
The ReStore is in need of a volunteer truck driver to pick up donated items. A chauffer’s license is required. Other volunteer opportunities include cashiers, customer service, donation clean-up and general support. No experience is required and volunteer training will be provided.
Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore offers a large selection of new and gently used items for the home. Household items arrive daily and include building materials, appliances and furniture, all priced at a fraction of retail cost. Profits from sales help build Habitat for Humanity houses in Jackson County.
ReStore hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, or to volunteer, contact Leanne Prout at 517-784-6620.
