The members of the Grand River Environmental Action Team (G.R.E.A.T.) have the next activity scheduled for Sunday, June 16. What a great way to spend Father’s Day! We’ll be paddling on the St. Joseph River in Hillsdale County – putting in at Fayette St, off M-99 in Hillsdale (approx. address is 49 Fayette St. W, Hillsdale) and traveling to US-12 in Jonesville (near State Farm Insurance, 111 W. Chicago St, Jonesville).
Please arrive at the put in location no later than 11:00AM, so we have time to shuttle your vehicles to the take out location. This 4.4 mile trip will last approximately 2.5 to 4 hours. This stretch of the river is mostly woods and wetlands, and is a fairly easy paddle with few sharp bends. It should be a great time for the whole family!
To reserve a canoe or kayak for this paddle, please call (517)416-4234 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. .
