Fifth Third Bank’s Empowerment eBus Stops- Lansing

Fifth Third Bank’s Empowerment eBus, a 40-foot mobile meeting place that takes financial services directly into low to moderate income communities, will be in Lansing to discuss financing, housing and banking needs with members of the community on June 12 and 13.


The Financial Empowerment eBus offers a wide selection of services, including health education, home energy consultations, homebuyer assistance and foreclosure prevention assistance, career exploration and credit reviews, all free of cost to members of the Mid-Michigan community. To increase the variety of services offered at the events, Fifth Third has partnered with nearly a dozen Mid-Michigan organizations, including:


·         Asset Independence Coalition Capital Area Michigan Works!

·         Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA)

·         Center for Financial Health, Central Michigan 2-1-1

·         Greater Lansing Housing Coalition

·         Ingham County Land Bank

·         Ingham County Treasurer

·         Lansing Community College

·         Lansing Financial Empowerment Center Lutheran Social Services of Michigan

·         Michigan Benefits Access Community Resource AmeriCorps Program

·         NorthWest Initiative, Veterans Services Division


The eBus and community partners will be in Lansing at the following times and locations:


·         June 12 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Capital Area Michigan Works, 2110 S Cedar St. in Lansing

·         June 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CATA Transportation Center, 420 S. Grand Ave. in Lansing


The eBus is part of Fifth Third Bank’s mission to ensure all members of the community have access to financing, housing and banking assistance. The eBus provides underserved individuals access to Fifth Third professionals to discuss their financing, housing and banking needs.
