WHO:            Kareemah El-Amin, Executive Director, Food Bank Council of Michigan and staff; Dr. Chris Meeks, Regional Aquaculture Extension Specialist; open to the public


WHY:            Company & Conversation is a series of dialogues introduced by the Food Bank Council of Michigan. These dialogues are intended to lay out the canvas for fluid discussions that combine the topics of food and social justice, while incorporating an element of artistic expression.


The second in a series of dialogues- “The Food Death Toll”, will explore the following topics:

  • How does food harm, heal, and affect the quality of life of our communities?
  • Explore how the faces of hunger and health have changed over time.
  • What is aquaculture? Discover how fish and fisheries impact human health.
