Coffee with the Chamber and Smart Commute Event- Concord

July 19, 2013 @ 7:00 am – 8:30 am

Join us for the Falling Water Trail – Group Commute and Coffee with the Chamber.  The peace and quiet of an early morning ride on the Falling Waters Trail is a great way to get focused and ready for work.  Join us for some friendly conversation and great scenery as we ride the trail from Concord to downtown Jackson as a warm-up for the work day.

This year we are partnering with the Jackson Chamber of Commerce and the Concord Cafe to partner for Coffee with the Chamber.  The Concord Cafe (in the old Silver Spoon building) will provide coffee and morning snacks.  Coffee with the Chamber starts at 7:00am.  We will mingle with Chamber members for a while before riding out at 8:00am.
Riders interested in a shorter ride can meet the group at Teft Rd around 8:20am. We will reach P&T Fitness around 9:30am, where bike storage will be available for the day. Riders will peel off the ride to head to work as we approach town.  This is a group ride, but everyone can choose their own pace.  Everyone is welcome- you don’t have to be a professional cyclist to enjoy this ride! Helmets are required on all Smart Commute rides.
When: Friday, July 19; Networking at 7:00 am; riders meet at 7:30 am, ride out at
8:00 am, group will be at Teft Rd around 8:20 am
The Smart Commute is a community-wide celebration encouraging everyone to try a healthier, greener, and cheaper way to get to work. Hundreds of employees in Jackson will be walking, biking and riding transit as part of their work day throughout the summer months.
The Smart Commute is your chance to find out how much fun your trip to work can be! Whether you live down the street from your office or a long drive from your job, there are ways to include biking, walking, and riding transit in your trip to work.
The Smart Commute continues all summer, with Smart Commute Days on the third Friday of July, and August. More information on all Smart Commute activities at:
