South Lyon’s much anticipated community event, Pumpkinfest, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, September 26 to 28, in Downtown South Lyon. For three decades, the South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has provided wholesome entertainment for all ages. For the first time in the history of the event, Pumpkinfest will expand to a three-day event kicking off Friday evening with the opening of the Beer Garten and live music. Live music will continue to entertain the community on Saturday night and during the day Sunday.
The festival focuses on core attractions such as non-profit booths, craft show, children’s activities, live music, entertainment and the Pumpkinfest Parade occurring on Saturday morning.
Pumpkinfest is launching a strategic advertising and marketing campaign to include radio, TV and print along with extensive social media. Pumpkinfest strives to continue to increase the quality of entertainment and activities as well as increase regional awareness of the festival. Pumpkinfest strives to be a destination event with even broader appeal, designed to deliver maximum exposure to the community as well as to the sponsors.
