Mighty Naturalist Program for Kids 1-5 – Dahlem Center in Jackson

Share your love of nature with your young child(ren). We will explore and play with nature while developing critical early childhood skills and growing self-confidence. The Mighty Naturalist Programs are geared toward children 5 years and younger with an adult caregiver to learn about animals, winter survival, birds, tracks, and more. Each program offers a different theme and activities to give you and your mighty naturalist many program opportunities. Invite your friends to sign up, too.

Ages: 1-5 years old with a caregiver
Fee: $8 per child ($5 Dahlem member); free for adult and children under 1 year old
When: Friday morning 9:30 – 10:45 am on Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and Feb. 7, 14, and April 3
Advance Registration Required: Register online at www.dahlemcenter.org/events or call 517-782-3453 to reserve your spot for you and your mighty naturalist(s). Payment due upon registration. Registered participants who did not attend program and/or give minimum 24 hour cancellation notice will not be refunded.

Dinosaur Glow-in-the-Dark Adventure - Lansing

In this original storyline, a famous scientist with magic powers brings a friendly dinosaur to life. When the dinosaur wanders away from home, he discovers a wonderful world full of creatures that light up the darkness and help him find the true meaning of love. This glow-in-the-dark adventure is visually amazing and has been praised for its cutting-edge blend of puppetry, technology and dance by audiences all over the world.

This event will take place at Wharton Center for Performing Arts, and is recommended for children ages 6-11. Visit their website for more details.
