Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, more than 1 million units of blood could be transfused in the United States. Individuals are urged to give a lifesaving gift this holiday season by making an appointment to donate blood or platelets and help the American Red Cross ensure a sufficient supply is available for patients throughout the holiday season. Those with type O blood are especially needed.

Groundhog Gallop 5k Run/Walk - Jackson

Step by Step is proud to host the 43rd Annual Groundhog Gallop. This 5K run/walk will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020. The race is professionally timed using disposable bib chips, and long-sleeve t-shirt guaranteed for all registered participants.
The race begins at JPS Middle School at Parkside (2400 4th St. Jackson, MI 49203).
Tickets are on sale beginning November 1st, 2019. Click here to purchase them.
The cost is as follows:
$20 on or before January 27.
$25 January 28-Feb 1.

The 2020 Run for the House will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan and the 20th Annual Run for the House with a new location and title sponsorship: Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.

Runners will enjoy the trails and trees at MSUFCU’s headquarters campus on West Road in East Lansing. MSU Federal Credit Union has been involved in the Run for the House since 2013, and is thrilled to host at this serene new location with ample parking and a lovely, safe race route.

Help make a difference for families of seriously ill children. Your participation in the Run for the House 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run and Kids Run will help the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan provide a home-away-from-home for those families who have a child being hospitalized or receiving treatment at Lansing-area hospitals and clinics. The House offers a comfortable, inexpensive and private place for families to sleep, eat and relax. Here families find a caring atmosphere where they can receive strength and encouragement from others who are also going through difficult times.
