Recycled Crafts to Keep Kids Warm- Ann Arbor

The Leslie Science & Nature Center
Thursday, December 5 6:30-8:30 p.m. All ages. $5/individual, free with donation of used/outgrown or crafted cold-weather items for kids.
Learn to make scarves, mittens, and slippers from discarded or thrifted jeans and sweaters! These easy crafts keep kids warm through the winter! Leslie Science & Nature Center’s young visitors sometimes arrive not-quite prepared for the weather, so we’ll waive the registration fee if you make and donate one item for their use – or bring outerwear the kids you know have outgrown, and we’ll still waive the fee! All materials provided. Visit http://lesliesnc.org or call 734-997-1553 for more details and to register.

Leslie Science & Nature Center is located at 1831 Traver Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
