Lansing Makers Network Celebrates Their Grand Opening
Tinker, Learn, Hack, MAKE
LANSING, MI – Saturday, November 16 the Lansing Makers Network (LMN) will celebrate its Grand Opening. This community event welcomes adults and children age 9 and older. LMN members will give tours, showcase projects, and demo equipment including 3-D printers, laser cutters, CNC mills and routers, metal lathes, and more. This event will take place from 2:00 pm to 7:00pm at the Temple Club in Old Town (502 East Grand River Avenue).
The Lansing Makers Network is the capitol city’s makerspace, offering access to tools, workshops and resources for metalworking, woodworking, crafting, and artistry of all kinds. LMN exists to bring diverse people, experiences, and ideas together in a safe environment; to meld technology, art, and culture in new and exciting ways; to share skills, tools, and inspiration; and to marvel at what we make together.
Saturday’s open house is a great opportunity to see first-hand what LMN has to offer, meet the talented members behind the creation of the space, and join the maker revolution. With the holidays fast approaching and the gift giving season upon us, now could be the perfect time to join.
Come celebrate with us and meet your fellow makers.
