JXN Community Forum: What’s in YOUR food? – Jackson
Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 pm
Do you know what is in your food?
The JXN Community Forum will host a panel discussion on genetically modified foods (GMOs) with a representative from No GMO 4 Michigan (www.nogmo4michigan.org,) Mitzi Koors, owner of Barefoot Homesteaders LLC, and author of the blog “My Month Without Monsanto” (https://mymonthwithoutmonsanto.wordpress.com,) and Ben Brue, Director of Technical Product Development at Dawn Food Products. This forum is co-sponsored by the Jackson Sierra Club.
JXN Community Forums are free and open programs to encourage dialogue about the challenging issues of our day. The series is sponsored by the Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty and the Jackson District Library. Childcare may be available for a modest donation: call 817-0940 to RSVP for childcare. Call Debby Sears at the library at 517-788-4087 ext. 1339 for more information or see the JDL website at www.myjdl.com.
