Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to the free “Front Porch” of the Potter Center at Jackson Community College from 7 – 9 p.m. for this series of outdoor concerts!
- June 13, 7 p.m. – The Capital City Brass Band (CCBB), an all-volunteer brass and percussion ensemble inspired by the traditional British-style brass band model.
- June 16, 7 p.m. – 28th Annual Trombonefest with guest artist, Ron Kischuk of Wayne State University. Kischuk is a prominent Detroit-area trombonist who has been a featured soloist with The Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Trombone players from across the state gather for this one-of-a-kind musical extravaganza.
- June 19, 7 p.m. – Jackson Jazz, a new local big band led by Jim Stuart
- June 25, 7 p.m. – Jackson Community Concert Band Pre-Fourth of July concert. The band is comprised of college students and community members, under the direction of Conductor Ronald L. Douglass.
