Internships AM Event – Adrian
Adrian Area Chamber of Commerce
September 26, 2013
Internships will be addressed on several fronts at this week’s Adrian in the AM. Some regulations may be changing in the coming months and career planners from Siena Heights University will be updating the audience on how those changes could affect the way area businesses work with student interns. This information will be critical to non-profits and for-profit businesses as well.
The Chamber will also preview its new Intern Success System, the newest addition to the Chamber’s complement of programs designed to enhance the relationship between local colleges, students and the community. It allows local businesses looking to fill internship positions with qualified and competent applicants to more easily connect with local college students, and students to easily identify internship opportunities.
The AM Series sponsor for this month is Lolley Wealth Management and Captain Gordon Knight of the Salvation Army will be the featured non-profit speaker.
This month’s Adrian in the AM meeting will be held at the Lenawee Country Club on September 26 from 7:30–9:00 AM. Cost to attend is $12 for Chamber Members who pre-register and $15 for those who are not yet members and walk-ins. Please call 517-265-2320
