Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity announced a new volunteer orientation schedule to all of those interested in learning more about Habitat for Humanity.
Greater Jackson Habitat for Humanity offers a variety of opportunities. The first is our ReStore location, which is a resale store that sells gently used household items and building supplies to the public. The ReStore is the perfect place to serve if you have a passion to assisting people in the store and being a cheerful “face” in customer service.
Habitat is known for building simple, affordable homes, so construction always needs volunteers. We have four work crews working Monday through Thursday year round. Most volunteers serve on one of the work crews, one day per week. Volunteers can range from experts to someone willing and able to learn. We also need volunteers in the office, helping with event planning, cleaning, office tasks and reception. To find out more, please attend an orientation session:
