Gardner House Museum – Albion

Albion Historical Society’s Gardner House Museum will be opening on weekends through September. The museum opens to the public on Saturday, May 11 for its annual Mother’s Day Tea. Albion Historical Society works to preserve and display the heritage of the Albion area. It owns and operates the Gardner House Museum. The society is led by a volunteer board of directors and is made up of nearly 200 members. They care for thousands of artifacts, educate the public about local history and display exhibits. The newest exhibit is called “From Bloomers to Bell Bottoms,” and includes clothes from the 1890’s through the 1970’s and pictures of local clothing stores from the past.
