Students will learn the songs, script and movement of the show, and the Croswell, along with the Adrian Recreation Department, will provide a professional team of director, music director and choreographer.
Roles in the production will be awarded based on skills and abilities as assessed in the early days of the camp. Students who are beginners as well as experienced performers will learn about being involved in a show with Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Kids. The Croswell’s camp runs from August 5 – 16, with performances August 16 – 18 at the Croswell. Cost for each camper is $200, with a discount offered to additional children from the same family ($175). Registration for the camp is now open, through August 2.
Tickets are also now on sale for Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Kids. Performances are scheduled for Friday, August 16 at 5:30pm, and Saturday & Sunday August 17 & 18 at 1:30pm. Ticket prices are just $15 for adults and $5 for all kids 15 and under. This abbreviated musical (approximately 40 minutes long) is based on the animated Disney movie of the same name and is the familiar tale of kidnappers, puppies and villains.
In a loving home in the city of London, human owners Robert and Anita live happily with Dalmatian parents Pongo and Perdita, as they raise their 15 puppies. Everything is quiet until the monstrous Cruella de Vil plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. Join all the dogs of London as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen. With a delightful score, loveable characters and one of the most deliciously evil villains from Disney, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences.
