Dave has been married to his wife Karen for 28 years and has two children- Esther and Drew. Both are students at Eastern Michigan University. They attend Westwinds Community Church and are members of Moring Star Christian Community. Karen has been teaching at Vandercook Lake High School for 23 years and Dave has worked for Comtronics, Sparton Electronics and Consumers Energy. His latest hobby is playing bass guitar, watching trains and rebuilding his late father’s John Deere tractor. Dave’s not new to Spring Arbor University Radio, as he’s been an active listener since 1978. His brother George and sister Marge were Spring Arbor College students. In the early 80’s, his sister was a student manager of the radio station.
