Summer camps offer a variety of experiences to children and Jackson Community Ambulance’s Camp 9-1-1 is no exception.
During the free 2-day camp, 8 to 12 year olds will tour an ambulance, learn CPR and first

aid, interact with their local fire and police departments and visit a hospital emergency department. JCA Paramedics and EMTs teach campers about safety at home and at play how to perform lifesaving skills on injured victims, and all about emergency services careers.

The free 2-day camp in Jackson runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on, Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27 at Allegiance Health. There are a few openings, so be sure to register.

Camp 9-1-1 registration is first come, first served, and limited to 30 participants per camp. For a registration form or more information, call Jason Trojan, Camp 9-1-1 Coordinator at 734-477-6781 or email him at camp911@emergenthealth.org. An online registration form and information about other Camp 9-1-1 locations are available at www.jca.org.
