Spring Arbor University Singers and Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Livesay, will be presenting their final concert of the year on Tuesday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. In White Auditorium on SAU’s main campus, at 106 E. Main Street, Spring Arbor, MI 49283. In addition to hearing 3 pieces chosen, rehearsed and conducted by 3 student conductors (all seniors), you’ll be treated to several selections of different styles, from vocal jazz to modern. An especially different piece will be Cloudburst by Eric Whitacre, based on a poem by Mexican poet and diplomat Octavio Paz. It appropriately includes a thunderstorm with choral accompaniment at the end. Come and hear “A Choral Cloudburst” to end your month of April. Admission is free for the concert.
