Short Film Explores The Distinction Between A Friendship And A Relationship – Spring Arbor

A new film titled ‘DTR’ is being released by Dorie Shelby’s VID 370 special topics class. The film is written and directed by Jimmy Stump and produced by Jossiah Keehne and will be featured in a December 11th screening of short films produced by SAU video/film students at 6:30 p.m. in White Auditorium at Spring Arbor University.

The film stars Logan Hurtado and Tessa Horon as two best friends, Doug and Karen, who decide to make a video journal to explain to their future selves why they will never be together. Through making the journal, they are forced to confront deeper feelings, confusing them further. Will they remain friends? Or will they find their message to their future selves changing?

The answer to these questions will be available at the premier on December 11th, 2013 in White Auditorium. For more information, visit the website at http://dtrshortfilm.wordpress.com and follow on twitter @dtrshortfilm.
