About Mason
Babbie Mason, a two-time Dove Award winning singer, songwriter and author, is a favored guest at churches, conferences and conventions worldwide, including Billy Graham Crusades, Bill Gaither Homecoming Events, Women of Faith, Carnegie Hall, and the Brooklyn Tabernacle. Her timeless music has been an integral part of church music for over three decades, and appears in octavos, worship anthems, musicals and hymnals in over twenty languages. She has graced the stage with American presidents Carter, Ford and Bush. Inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2010, this pastor’s daughter captures the heart of young and old alike.

A sought-after women’s conference speaker and author, Mason builds up the hearts of women in her brand new book, This I Know For Sure (Abingdon Press). In this encouraging and life-giving message, Mason reminds women, in spite of our circumstances or how we may feel, God is faithful and trustworthy. She also digs deep into God’s Word and her own life experience, to reveal foundational truths from God’s Word in This I Know For Sure, the six-week Bible Study for women.  To enhance the specific themes of the book and the Bible study, Mason brings beautiful music from her 25th recording by the same name.

Mason is as well-known for her songwriting as she is for her singing and communication skills. Some of the nation’s most notorious Christian artists such as New Song, CeCe Winans, and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir have all recorded her compositions. Her award-winning songs, All Rise, Trust His Heart, and With All My Heart, are some of the most recorded songs in Christian music.

Mason and her husband, Charles, are the parents of two adult sons and live on a farm in West Georgia.

Babbie Mason Scholarship Fund
Mason established the Babbie Mason Scholarship Fund at the University, which assists minority music students. All concert proceeds will be donated to the fund.
